Monday brings sorrow with the start of the week,
And Tuesday seems almost as bleak.
Wednesday signals that the week is half done,
And Thursday just seems more fun.
Friday is the day that I wait for all week,
And Saturday is the time when I can sleep.
Sunday is a day of rest,
For having had made it through the week I am blessed.
