A Christmas Tree in its stand,
Sitting there looking grand.
Clad in green needles all around,
It waits silently, not making a sound.
A star on top makes it shimmer,
Scintillating ornaments make it glimmer.
Beneath it lie wrapped up toys,
Surprises for the whole family to enjoy.
What a marvelous tree I picked out,
It is perfect without a doubt!
