One year ago today,
Japan was almost destroyed in a terrible way,
A devastating tsunami hit Japan,
And destroyed the homes of every man,
To make matters worse a power plant exploded,
And most landscapes were eroded,
The radiation from the power plant caused much harm,
And hurt parts of the body such as the brain, legs, and arm,
People donated things that the victims need,
The Japanese citizens were very pleased,
Even in a time of darkness,
They were confronted with a bit of happiness.
This happiness was knowing that people cared,
And their broken buildings they repaired,
Many people were affected by this disaster,
And many people will not live happily ever after,
Their possessions are long gone,
And their hearts sing a sorrowful song,
They are missing many things,
Like clean water from unaffected springs,
Many are starving right now,
Wanting to get food but they don't know how,
They have no money left,
It was swept away by something more terrible than a theft,
And while they sit there and suffer,
They realize that their lives have gotten tougher.
As a world we need to come together,
And help these people make their live better.
